Why I Started This Project
This website is my passion project. I don’t know exactly where it will lead, but I enjoy writing and sharing stories from the athletes and coaches of our great state. North Dakota sports have many great stories. I’m excited to put these stories online so people can enjoy them.
What Will We Cover?
Anything I can get my hands on. I’ll draw from my own experiences, conversations, and research, but I also want tips from you. If you know a story about an athlete, coach, or team from North Dakota, share it with me. Most of the focus will be on high school and college athletics. This website exists to honor and remember the classic games, feuds, players, and memories that shaped sports in North Dakota.

How You Can Contribute To The North Dakota Sports Almanac
If you have an interest in the things I’ve mentioned above and would like to contribute to the North Dakota Sports Almanac (NDSA), reach out and let me know. You can send photos, videos, newspaper clippings, or stories you’ve written yourself. We can’t hire or pay contributors right now, but if you’d like us to feature a story or research a topic, let us know.This website will not focus on the current state of high school athletics. If you want scores and standings, check out “Blast To The Past ND” on Facebook or Twitter, or follow one of the many outlets that provide that coverage. We may highlight something current now and then, but the focus isn’t on JV volleyball box scores in Tioga or updated regional football standings.
Disclaimer: There may be a times that strong language will be used on the website. I am not going to turn this into a kids newsletter, nor will it look like an anonymous Twitter account from 2010-2012. The stories are the stories and they’re written the way they are written.
